So I have just recently bought the Hero tier subscription and have added some subclasses from online to use with my characters. However most of the subclasses abilites dont work as intended. For example, I downloaded a nerfed Hexblade subclass to use, but none of his features work, even though I have chosen the subclass. There is no action where I can use Hexblade's Curse, and I cant use Hex Warrior to make my longsword use CHA instead of STR. Am I doing something wrong, or is it an issue with the subclass?

They might just be improperly programmed, always a hazard with public homebrew. You should report them so the Mods can take them down.
