Hi. I have XGtE but my first level half-elf character is not given the option of selecting the Prodigy or Elven Accuracy feats. Is a fix for this in the pipeline or am I doing something wrong?
Normally, only a variant human can select a feat at first level. Outside of that, feats can be selected when you gain an Ability Score Improvement. In the new character sheet revamp coming in the next month or so, you'll have the option to select feats outside of the normal 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th levels.

Well d'oh! Thank you very much. So 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th. I just got the PH, Xanathar, and Mordecainan's tomes and I'm a tad overwhelmed. I looked and looked for the feat levels, so I really appreciate your help.
Note that when you gain an Ability Score Improvement, you can opt to take a feat instead, assuming your DM allows feats. So at each of those levels, you'd have to choose between raising your stats or a gaining feat. Some feats also raise a stat.

Rogues also get an ASI at 10th level.
Fighters also get an ASI at 6th and 14th level.
