I have a level 3 (2 druid, 1 barbarian) druid. When I select the Giant Wolf Spider in the Extras/Wild Shape, the Stealth is +5. The standard stealth of that spider is +7. For some reason it is not using the spiders stealth which it should per the Druid Wild Shape rule:
If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature’s bonus instead of yours.
I am not sure if other skills are off on other creatures, but this one is.
It’s a bug (no pun intended) with monsters that have expertise when they get loaded as Extras. If it’s really bugging you (pun totally intended that time), you can make a homebrewed copy of the monster, and edit that skill. All you need to do is delete the 2 from the Additional Bonus field and increase the Base Value from 5 to 7. The system doesn’t include the Additional Bonus numbers on the Extras page is all.
