New to DND Beyond so forgive me if this is a 101 level question. I'm a Tempest Cleric who gets some prepared spells and two always-prepared spells, one of which is can do damage (Thunderwave). I'm finding that the spells I manually select as "prepared" and can do damage show up under the "attack" menu as possible options, but Thunderwave does not. I can obviously use Thunderwave in combat, so I'm confused why it won't show up in under the attack options menu? Is this a bug or a setting issue?
It’s more accurate to state that spells that can do damage AND REQUIRE AN ATTACK ROLL will show up under the Attacks section. Spells which do damage and do not require an attack roll (either requiring a save or, in niche cases like Magic Missile, just doing damage directly) will not show up under the Attacks section. You can create a custom action for them if you like, or you can just cast them directly from the Spells tab; either way works, so it’s up to your preference.

I'd probably build the app differently but THANK YOU. The lack of clarity was driving me crazy!
You can customize those spells so that they will “display as attack.”
