I'm having an issue with my homebrew races. While I am editing a homebrew race that I have already made a character for, the changes do not get applied to the character. For example: I was creating Thor and made a homebrew race called the Æsir. I was creating the racial feature "Size" and made a mistake upon completing it. I went back in and edited the options so it worked properly, but then when I went to the character, the previous version was still there as the only option. I even tried closing the pages, changing the race to another and back again, and refreshing the page, but nothing worked; the only thing that fixed it was creating a whole new character, and this was a level 20 character so remaking it (turned out I had to remake it three times) was a hassle. Is there something I'm doing wrong here, or is this just an unfortunate fact of homebrew?
After you add, remove, or change anything in a homebrew you MUST re-save the whole homebrew. It can then take up to 20 minutes for those changes to push through. Sometimes characters get stuck on an old version of the homebrew. Then you have to remove the homebrew from the character, refresh the page, and then you can add it back. You have to do it in that order. Often it’s faster to just remake the character.
