As a PbP DM this is becoming a pretty frustrating bug on these forums. I try to keep all of my updates contained in one post, so I will make dice rolls, then edit the same post to add in the narration of the roll results. When I do that, though, I'm not modifying any of the dice rolls, just adding text at the end of the post. When I save the edit, all of the dice in the post get re-rolled and my players see the "manipulated dice results" warning at the top of the post. This started occurring a few months ago and it happens on all browsers.
We're seeing this a lot in the forum games section - though obviously it's less important than in the PbP section.
There are other forum dice roll errors too.
When hovering over a roll - it will show one type of roll that is different from the code used to generate that roll. This can be shown by viewing the post history of the person rolling and seeing the code. (Example)
"Dice rolls not yet available for this section." - Editing these posts will sometimes fix it - sometimes it won't - sometimes it will bring up the manipulated dice results message. (Example)
"Unable to parse die roll." - Even when the code is perfectly fine. In this case editing the post is guaranteed to bring up the manipulated dice results message.
And sometimes - a post will show the manipulated dice roll error message immediately - even though the post has never been edited and cannot have been manipulated. (Example)
These used to be fairly rare - but are getting steadily more common.
Yes - all these errors continue to be a big problem, especially for play-by-post games. Be sure to submit a ticket when it happens. I hope they can address this! A lot of play-by-post gamers have abandoned this site over these frustrating little intermittent dice roller bugs in the forums!
No change from my experience. I've had to completely pull rolls out of the forums, tried again and on the 3rd roll it threw a manipulation warning despite no rolls changing in the post.

So... how's the dice roller doing now?

I've seen posts with no dice rolls at all being flagged as have manipulated dice rolls.
