I'm trying to recreate the primeval guardian subclass for the ranger for a friend of mine. But I don't get the hang of the subclass creator tool. Can somebody help me to build it, or know how to make it?
What do you mean, recreate? Are you trying to build something fundamentally similar, but from scratch? Or are you going for something thematically similar but mechanically distinct? If you're just looking for the subclass... Well, that's it. UA has been updated for 5e, and you can play Eberron fully with the ever-updating PDF without the need to do any additonal retooling.
Ahhhh! I see, you want to link it into D&D Beyond. Sorry 'bout that, I misunderstood the post. Personally, I'd just link the class to him, and he can refer to it when needed - to be honest I don't know how to work the site homebrew tools myself, haha. Best of luck!
I don't think the Primeval Guardian has anything to do with Eberron, but it's not in Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron. Both the Scout and Horizon Walker, two other subclasses within the same Unearthed Arcana, were released in Xanathar's Guide to Everything. It seems to me that it is no longer in playtest and has been discarded, it won't be released officially.
What specifically is the issue you're having trying to recreate it as homebrew? I'd take the time to go through it myself and show you how, but I don't think that would be acceptable per the forum/site rules, for the same reasons why homebrewed UA content can't be shared publicly. But if you have specific questions about a particular aspect, we might be able to answer it?
I have been trying to do the same thing but can't get the additional spells known to come up. I can get them on the spell list just not known as a class trait.
Pretty disappointed and not see this in D&D beyond. To discontinue something just because people had some concerns. When normally DMS can disregard that stuff anyways. If they feel it's problematic. Just seems strange to strip it away from everyone else.

Hi there fellow D&D lovers.

Here is the pdf describing the subclass: https://media.wizards.com/2016/dnd/downloads/2017_01_UA_RangerRogue_0117JCMM.pdf

So you can buy the primeval guardian subclass? Because I can’t find it. That’s why I wanted to recreate it with the subclass homebrew
I want exactly the same thing so my friend can play this subclass.
