I’m having issues with finding items.

i keep receiving items in my campaigns that appear is everyone else item search except mine. It ranges from legendary items such as “skull helm” to the mundane such as spell focuses and health potions. Obviously this is fairly game-breaking and hoped someone might shed some light on if I’m doing anything wrong on my end.

have found some threads with similar issues with other accounts but they seem to get locked up fairly quickly with no apparent resolution.

have access to most of the books via shared campaign before anyone asks.

is the character in a campaign with content sharing enabled? your entitlement might be out of sync, make sure to check here https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace

make sure it's not due to one of the options in the character builder not being enabled in the home section of the character creator/editor

I’ve noticed a few things that might be the issue, but I can’t say for sure:

• I noticed that every character in that campaign is yours, but the DM is someone else. Is the problem only affecting characters in that campaign?
• That character is running a homebrewed race, and a homebrewed rogue subclass. Are all your characters running homebrew like that? (All your other characters are set to private/campaign only so I couldn’t check.) I ask because I can see some things about how the race is apparently been made that could possibly hint that it was not put together as well as it could have been, which might be causing some type of issue (maybe).
  • (Also, you selected Dex twice for your racial ASIs. While this website lets that happen, that’s only because it isn’t programmed with a way to prevent that, but it is technically against the rules.)

The DM is a friend of mine, who created the campaign in order to give me access to the substantial amount of books he's accumulated. His absence from the campaign may be an issue, but considering I have access to other things, such as races and subclasses, this would bring me to assume it is not the issue.

Not every character is homebrew, but they are all having the same issues.

You are correct, as long as they are, the DM and the campaign is active. It should cause no issues.

Both of you should ensure that your Account Entitlements are in sync: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace). After that ask your friend to turn content sharing off and back on again.
