Creating a new character, Variant Human Ranger. When I select Feat I see Prodigy and maybe one other random feat. I have deleted and remade the character several times, Prodigy is consistent. I once had the opportunity to select Firearm Expert but this went away after moving to the class thread and going back. it was back to only showing Prodigy. I do own the PHB and am aware that content will not show if I don't own the corrisponding books. here are a few screenshots from the last two times I created a character. I really just want Crossbow Expert.

I'm having this same issue with a fighter build. It's showing only one option.

Is it showing that your entitlements are in sync?

Yessir. well.. as far as I can tell. There is no status showing "in sync" though. This is what I see on that page. 

The place to look for the "in sync" is a little up on that page under the bold "Account Entitlements" part.

When I look there I see, listed under it, "Your entitlements data is in sync! You should have nothing to worry about, but contact our Support Team if you're having problems accessing your purchased content."

Then there's the part about subscriptions followed the portion you screenshotted.

Found it. Yeah, it reports that everything is in sync.. very strange. I seem to get Prodigy everytime and now a random second option. 

I don't see the 2014 Player's Handbook in that list, so that's why you are not seeing the feats from that book. The feats in that book, with exception of Grappler, are not free and preordering the 2024 Player's Handbook will not unlock them. You will need to buy the 2014 Player's Handbook to get that books feats.
