"You can conduct the ritual with a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus (including yourself). At the end of the ritual, you temporarily learn one spell of your choice from any class."
"The spell you choose must be of a level equal to the number of creatures that conducted the ritual or less, the spell must of a level you can cast, and it must be in the school of divination or necromancy. The chosen spell counts as a bard spell for you but doesn’t count against the number of bard spells you know."
The list of spells should be limited to divination or necromancy spells
The list of spells should also be limited to the characters Proficiency Bonus. For example, my proficiency bonus is +3 so the spells in the list should be limited to 1, 2, or 3rd level only.
The ability to restrict features like that by School is not currently possible for them. We still have to remember some things for ourselves. Also, class features having limited uses based on PB is also new to 5e. DDB has managed to implement that limited use for Actions, but not yet for Spells. They are working on it though because they have to for the Circle of Stars Druid which also uses that metric.
Unfortunately no, because it is technically a part of that class feature, and the only way currently to change class features is to edit the character sheet. Though that would be a cool thing to see added for the character sheet after they fix the system for selecting the spell in the first place.
I can't select Spirit Shroud (Necromancy) but I am able to select Spirit Guardians (Conjuration) with this feature. That feels wrong. What am I missing. Did I find a bug?

Spirit Shroud is a spell from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. To select that spell anywhere on your character, you need to own that book (or have access to it through content sharing). You also need to have "Expanded Rules" checked on the Home tab of the character builder.

Another bug to this is the list of spells also shows Homebrew spells even if home-brew content is disabled on that character.
This has been passed along to the team, thanks!
Is there a way to change the chosen spell without going back to editing the character & modifying the class feature?
