I recently started playing DnD and my friend told me to use this APP.
I had the character created on paper (we believe we created right) and according to the Players Hand book there are 6 Fighting Styles. However on the APP when creating the character here there are ONLY 4 and mine does not show (Protection). Can anyone clarify if the APP os correct or is still not updated or something?
The four Fighting Style feats in the Basic Rules are available for free. There are additional ones available with the purchase of the Player’s Handbook here on D&D Beyond.
Alternatively, if you have the physical book, you could use it to recreate Protection as a homebrew feat on the site. (You won’t be able to designate it as a Fighting Style feat, but you could leave your Fighting Style unselected and then just manually add the feat to your character.)
Also, if you and your friend are in the same campaign, content sharing may be available. (Somebody in the game has to have a master subscription and turn sharing on, then everybody's books can be used to build characters in that game.)
