Hey guys. This is an idea I wanted to share and get some suggestions for. A market will be visiting the town my players are in soon, and I want one of the attractions to be a D&D version of a Toy Capsule Machine. When the players operate it, they get out a simple gnome construction. I've come up with 6 ideas so far, so when the players use it, they'll roll a D6 and see what they get. But if anyone has any other ideas that would suit the theme, I'm all ears. I was trying to make sure all the items were things that would appeal to children as toys, but would also be useful as a dungeoneering tool.
My one will cost 1 Silver to operate as I'm using Silver Standard pricing in my game, but obviously you can change the price to whatever you think is appropriate.
D6
1 - Tweeter - A small mechanical blue bird which, when wound up and thrown, will fly 15ft in the direction thrown, make a loud tweeting noise, then settle to the ground. (If more than 1ft off the ground, the Tweeter will break if landing on a hard surface)
2 - Peaker - A small, curved telescope that allows the user to look around corners, though the image is not very clear. [-5 on Passive Wisdom checks]
3 - Squeaker - A small mechanical mouse which, when wound up and thrown, will travel for 25 foot, while making a loud squeaking noise. Use a 1D4 to determine path (1 - North, 2 - East, 3 - South, 4 - West) with each square that it travels.
4 - Squarker - A mechanical owl that, when wound up, squarks whenever something moves across its line of sight, up to 15 foot. Will operate for up to 1 hour after being wound up, but will only be triggered once before needing winding again.
5 - Porker - A mechanical pig which, when wound up and placed in front of food, can detect whether it is safe to eat. (gives advantage to a players nature check)
6 - Dragon Ball - A small ball which, when squeezed tightly, will produce bright light for 5ft and dim light for another 5ft. Single use.
Twerker - An anatomically "exaggerated" 6" figurine of a succubus that undulates in a hypnotic and suggestive manner for 1 min when wound up. Each creature in the area who sees the Twerker must make a DC 12 wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature has disadvantage on ability checks.

These are great. I am absolutely stealing this idea at some point in the future. Kudos.
What about a Sparker--I used to have old wind-up metal toys that would shoot sparks out as they rolled around. What about a little wind-up dragon that would roll along (or even fly along), shooting sparks out its nostrils? Not enough to do damage, but enough to distract, ignite flammables, etc.

Looking for new subclasses, spells, magic items, feats, and races? Opinions welcome :)
