Cant choose Rogue Subclass

Hi.

Im using the character builder tool and when I select 3rd level for the rogue Im building the only roguish archetype that's available in the dropdown is "thief"

where are the others???

Thief is the only free subclass. The rest must be unlocked through purchase.

Ok thank you! Now Ive been looking in the marketplace but I dont see where to purchase things like that.

Sure: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/marketplace/sourcebooks). Just click on the book that contains the subclass you want, scroll down and you will see a list of à la carte purchase options.

I’ve purchased the correct book but I am still unable to select the subclass I want when I edit or make a new character.

The subclass has to be from the same rule set as the base class. You can’t mix the 2014 classes & subclasses with the 2024 versions.

Yes, same issue. I use all 2014 content, and do not use the 2024 content. How do I see the content (subclasses) for 2014? I am subscribed to the maximum tier. I can see Player's Handbook (2014) in my library.

@wagnarokkr Thank you!. I didn't even realize that there was additional content below on the creation page, so I did not see the 2014 legacy section in choosing class. 

I also cant select the correct subclass. I have it purchased, I even have it used on another character, but the new one doesn't have the option. I even deleted the other character in case I could only use it so many times, still doesn't have the correct options. :/  

That was exactly the issue, i had the new class selected, it works now, thank you so much! 

I am playing a rogue and have levelled up to level 3 and i have the digital version of the PHB 2014 but i am still only able to choose the thief subclass. Is there a way I can choose more as I am looking everywhere and cannot find a solution.

I'm having a similar issue - I have subscribed on the maximum tier so I can share content with my players, I have the 2014 digital PHB which should include the arcane trickster rogue subclass. We have selected 2014 rules and checked the box for legacy content in the character builder, but when my player goes to add a subclass to her rogue, there are no options available in the dropdown.

Same problem. Tried following all instructions above. Nothing works. I've tried only one check box of each type, and every combination possible. None of it works. I subscribe to master tier

a while ago I could pick other subclasses (without having purchased anything) but now thief is the only option, which really sucks

If you haven't purchased anything, the subclasses were likely being shared with you. D&D Beyond hasn't changed what content is and is not free
