I made a homebrew monster and now it's telling me there's external links in it. Additionally it added a bunch of bracketed popups to my creature when i saved it that i didnt add. What am i doing wrong?
I have this same issue. Can we not have ANY links in the homebrew content? I copied sections of things from other monsters that have links to condition effects within dnd beyond. Are those not allowed in published homebrew content?

If you want to properly include conditions use the snippet codes [ condition ] ... [ /condition ] (without the spaces) like so: poisoned.

If the text is copied from another monster, it's likely that it copied the hyperlink rather than just the tooltip code.
As a rule of thumb, always right click and "paste as raw text" then add the tooltip yourself.
That was what I did. I ended up figuring it out. In terms of usability you should probably change the term from internal and external links because in a conventional sense that is not what is required. An internal link is usually within the same domain. In reality, you do not allow ANY hyperlinks. Instead, you're allowing is similar to HTML but with square brackets instead of <></>

Sorry i literally just figured it out, when i copied the original monster it added a bunch of bracketed things in. Taking them out resolved this.

No it won't because it's not a link until it's parsed - when viewed.

Literally just used the existing monster template and had to go through and delete all of the brackets before it would let me share it.
