I am sorry to bother you i was just wondering if anything happened to my order, if it has been lost or if it is just taking a little bit longer than usual. thanks for your support and for running this wonderful website
You will need to contact support. I wii warn you, they are very behind at the moment. While you are waiting for a response from them, three things to check: all are found by clicking on your user name above, choosing Account, and then the Marketplace tab. First, if under account entitlements it says you need to sync, tap/click on the sync button. Secondly, scroll down and look at Order Transactiosn. Does your purchase show up there? Finally, keep, scrolling to Current Product Licenses. Is it listed there?
Thank you for answering me Yes, I am synced and yes, my purchase does show up there in the order transaction, and last but not least, yes, I do own the license of the product. The only thing that is missing is the product in my hands, and that is why I thought something happened.

Which product and what exactly do you mean “in your hands?”
I thought they would have sent me the actual physical guide. My bad, thank you, now I know. Just a question, Can I do any other things except for just reading the book? What I mean is if there are other contents in it

I’m not entirely sure what you mean, so I’ll give you a quick rundown.
No, digital purchases do not include physical books. This website is not owned by the same company that publishes D&D, it is a separate company that runs as a digital book retailer that only sells digital editions of D&D books. For a physical copy you would need to purchase that separate from either your local game store, or a different online retailer such as Amazon. If you ever get a PDF of a 5e book, it is an illegal copy of the product.
If you purchased the “Compendium Only” ($20) version of a book from DDB, then you can read it here on this website, or download them onto the free DDB Compendium App to read offline. If there are any maps or other visual aids included in the book, the Compendium also includes a digital version of that in (I believe) jpg format. (If it’s a different format someone will correct me.) The app is basically a proprietary e-reader that will only work with digital compendiums purchased here. This is the digital equivalent of purchasing the hardback book, only with fewer dead trees and toxic chemicals. It includes all of the same information with one little exception, no page numbers. 🤷♂️
If you purchased the “Full Version” ($30) of the book, then you get the aforementioned Compendium, and in addition you also have unlocked the ability to use the materials in that book with DDB’s digital character sheets as well. You can access those by following this link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/my-characters. Even if you have not purchased anything from this website, you can still use the digital character sheets with any of the free materials published for D&D, which include the Basic Rules & SRD, as well as the Elemental Evil Players Companion.
If you purchased the “Compendium Only,” and would have preferred the “Full Version,” you can upgrade your purchase in the marketplace. Your previous purchase will count as credit towards the Full Version, so you will only need to pay the remaining difference ($10). If you ever purchase separate parts of any book a la carte, those will also count as credit towards any future purchase of the Full Version of that book that you might make.
Any materials you have unlocked, either materials from the three free resources I mentioned, or materials you unlocked through purchases will also no be available for you to use as “templates” in the homebrewer here on DDB, allowing you to make custom, unique things based off of that official content, either for private use in your "collection,” or to share for free with the comunity here on DDB. Every homebrew in your collection will automatically be shared with other people in any DDB campaign you are a part of. If you have even a basic “Hero Tier” subscription* here on DDB, you can also add other people’s shared homebrews to your own “collection.”
If you, or anyone else in a DDB hosted campaign you are in happens to have a “Master Tier” subscription,* that person could potentially activate “Content Sharing” for that campaign. If that happens, then every book purchased from DDB by anyone in that campaign will get shared with everyone in that campaign. For example, if there are 5 people in the campaign, and 4 of them each purchased a single book here, and the fifth person enables content sharing for that campaign, then all five people will be able to use materials from all four books, but only on characters specifically within that campaign and not elsewhere. The Compendium content will be shared everything and can even be downloaded using the free Compendium app I mentioned before.
*To be 100% clear, purchasing a subscription does not in itself unlock any content, only book purchases, or a la carte purchases unlock content.
wow man, thank you so much, I really appreciated your kindness. I am very sorry to ask you something again but you have been so helpful that i can't stop myself from doing so: I bought the master's guide during the black Friday sales and I don't know which one of the two versions I purchased, how do I know that? Is there any way I can thank you?
I’ve never bought just a compendium before, so I don’t know if it says anything different when you do or not. If you took advantage of a sale price and paid more than $20, it was the full version, if less than $20 it was the compendium.
