I just bought the monster manual and was keen to try out their encounter builder. However, it seems like I am somehow unable to view the stat blocks of the monsters although I can add them into my encounters.
Do i typically have to wait for a few hours before the encounter builder is able to register that Ive already bought the monster manual?
-Do you have a subscription? While in Alpha, the encounter builder is only available to subscribers (this will change when it is out of alpha)
-If you do have a subscription, can you list some specific monsters you can't access in the encounter builder? I'd like to test and see if I can access them. (I know that certain monsters from other sources are not currently available in the builder)
Yes I took the DM subscription as I'm trying to run a new game tomorrow haha! Strangely I cant seem to view MM monsters yet haha, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong?
But for example, I can't view the stat blocks for pixie and needle blight. I'm gonna try re-logging in to see if it changes anything!
Ok o still can't view the monsters after I log in again. When I filter to only see monster manual books, I can't see any of the stat blocks for them on the monster encounter page.
I can see pixie and needle blight in the encounter builder; so they aren’t unavailable to everyone. You might try clearing your cache. I know you said you can see them in the sources section. What about Game Rules>Monsters?
Ive tried clearing the cache but to no avail :(, however, fortunately I can view them in Game Rules > Monsters! For now I guess I can work with using the builder to determine the difficulty, and then using the Game Rules> Monsters to pull the stat blocks. At least until the purchases register haha.
Again, thank you for the help, I didnt even know that there was a Game Rules> Monsters tab!

There can be some lag between purchase and full accessibility (I hear, I've never experienced it). It shouldn't take too long.
You can try refreshing some pages or clearing your cache to speed it up.
Alright thank you!:) was really excited to see all the features and its looking pretty nifty so far
Is it working now?
Unfortunately not, I still can't seem to access the monster manual stuff in the encounter creator.
However, I can view them fine on my source materials tab. Perhaps it would take about a day for it to be registered?
