I am just giving this a try to see how comparable it is to me just plunking maps on the table or using dungeon tiles.
I picked up a map from the Maps re-incarnated and I'm wondering how I use them in my campaign. I see I can add a photo (which the map is within the zip), but it looks like I need a third party which I'm not comfortable about using purchased content with.
Can anyone point me to a guide/reference manual on how to use the campaign manager?
How about partner with tabletop simulator and release adventures as DLC? Or buy the damn thing and make it super D&D friendly. I'm pretty sure that a solid 3D tabletop experience is the future (VR).

One can dream... :)
Because that program is rather resource and graphics heavy and quite a lot of people (including me) cannot use it without upgrading our devices which not everyone can afford to do.

Frankly I'm extremely happy with how dndbeyond has been rolling out and improving their content slowly. I have faith that when they do finally roll out a virtual table top it will be everything I hope. They really don't disappoint.
I wasn't actually looking to have a table top sim... I was just wondering if there was a way to link directly to purchased content via a link or something, so I can add a map from content. it looks like you need to have upload the unzipped jpeg from the content to a accessible website, and get the link to the file (like Imgur... as google photos doesn't allow for a direct link to content). I just don't feel comfortable to be putting licensed material up on a public forum like that in order for me to embed the jpeg into my DM notes.
You can find the image source on DDB. Just right click on image and open image in new tab. You aught to be able to use that URL to embed the image in notes.

DDB does not have a virtual table top (yet).
They should really partner with roll20.com they have the tabletop down but their character sheet stuff is garbage.
Roll20 is actually a competitor of DDB since they both sell digital rules licences. And their devs (owners?) are uncooperative.
I would rather wait for DDB to make their own VTT so I can watch them (roll20) sink.

I get what you're trying to say, but calling TTS resource heavy is at best far fetched.
I run it on a 6 years old laptop and it's doing just fine.
