So I recently downloaded a homebrew race, its meant to have a level one cantrip to start off with, but its not there, I have tried multiple things, like redownloading it and remaking the character, how do I fix this?

You would have to take that up with the homebrew’s author. They will have to republish a new, corrected version of the race and you will have to remove the current version from your collection and add the newer one after it’s fixed.

I made a copy of the spell and put it into the magic item (My friend was the one who made it) but it still does not add the cantrip to my list.

Whenever you add anything to, change anything on, or remove anything from any homebrew, you MUST re-save the entire project using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information or the system will not pick up your changes. After that it can sometimes take up to 20 minutes for those changes to push through to the character builder/sheet.
