I have purchased the PHB, DMG, & the Curse of Strahd, with a Master Tier subscription.
I created a campaign and enabled content sharing.
My players have the free version, and have created characters in the campaign, but cannot access any of the books, or content in the character creator.
similar issue for me. I purchased master tier and PHB, DMG, MM, VOLO. Characters are having issues uploading their own characters in due to settings not being available even tho I should be sharing them
As long as content sharing turned on by someone with a Master Tier sub, licensed content among the characters in the campaign should be shared throughout.
Would you mind posting a link to your campaign or PMing it to me so I can take a closer look?
I found the enable content sharing and turned it on. I hadn't realized I needed to do that. Once I did that my players could see unlocked stuff in the Character Creator.
I guess where I'm confused is, should they be able to also see the PHB in the compendium, or do they only have access thru the Character Creator?

They will also have access to the material in the compendium. After turning on content sharing, it may take a little time for that access to populate to their accounts.
I have a master tier subscription. I purchased, among other things, Tales from the Yawning Portal. One of my players has a hero tier subscription. I have a campaign with content sharing enabled. He joined the campaign with a character. Neither of us can add Shatterspike to his equipment list.

Example - Ranger cannot select beast master (since thats PHB content)

make sure content sharing is saved
I noticed no matter how many times I clicked it never saved
I ended up creating a new campaign (this time selecting content sharing out of the gate)
Now all my PC's have access to my content
I withdraw my report. The problem seems to have corrected itself.
