So I have bumped into this problem twice now. First in the campaign DM Notes section, and now while making a homebrew magic item.
Text I am putting in the description is appearing as italicised even though I didn't use that feature at all. Then when I try to view the finished product, all of the effected text is disappearing.
Example I Wrote: Additionally, this item has 12 charges and regains 1d6+3 charges at dawn. It saves as: Additionally, this item has 6+. It appears as: Additionally, this item has 6+.
This is showing up almost any time I add a number and is making everything basically unusable. For the record, I am not copying text, everything was written directly into D&DBeyond this morning.
Additional. WOW, this even showed up here in the forums. If I hit preview it affected the text in the example as well as changed "everything was written directly into D&DBeyond this morning." into "everything was writ&DBeyond this morning." What is this nonsense.
Everything works fine for me so I am guessing it may be an issue with your browser and/or device having conflict with the forums' formatting.

That should say
It saves as: Additionally, this item has 12 charges and regains 1d6+3 charges at dawn.
