I've been making a character sheet for my brother's fighter character, and I can't seem to equip any weapons? The shortsword is in his inventory, and it has a box next to it, but I can't click it, it just brings up a box to tell me about the item and proficiency bonuses but the actions section only give me the option for an unarmed strike. It's probably me being dim...
Are you trying to equip something to his character through his account or yours? At present it's the only thing I could think of that would explain this if you were viewing his character and trying to toggle options.

Lightning Strike - A rebranded Fire Bolt for Wizards & Sorcerers.
Spirit Bomb - A holy fireball for Clerics, Paladins, & Divine Soul Sorcerers!
Sword Dancer - A Cleric subclass specifically for the Drow goddess Eilistraee.
Are you accessing the sheet by going to Collections - My Characters then clicking View? You should be fine doing this.
Or at you using the direct link? This is the same as public access - meaning it's what the public see when going to your sheet and so it cannot be edited. Especially if you're not logged in.
When you view your character, which type of link are you seeing and what method are you using to access it?

Top of the screen -> Collections -> My Characters. Click View on the character. That should take you to the proper character sheet - not the shareable link.
If it's not doing that then that's probably a bug.
Hi there, I'm very new to this.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks :P

Quicksilver & The Scarlet Witch - A pair of magical firearms for your Gunslinger or Artificer.
No, it's my account. I'm just using it to make a digital version of his character sheet.
Are you accessing the sheet by going to Collections - My Characters then clicking View? You should be fine doing this.
Or at you using the direct link? This is the same as public access - meaning it's what the public see when going to your sheet and so it cannot be edited. Especially if you're not logged in.
For example:
If I want to view my character, Dahlia, if I go to her through Collections and click view, I am taking to the link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Cyb3rM1nd/characters/24511165
However, If I am logged out and use that link it redirects to a different link, the public version: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/24511165
When you view your character, which type of link are you seeing and what method are you using to access it?

If you click on the name you should be able to click wield. Good luck!
okay, I must have been viewing it wrong. I went into my characters and then clicked edit. But that was super frustrating XD
Sounds like you were viewing the share version of the character. Those are read only.
I had to go back into the character builder to equip it, it there another way?
