Contrast this with the warlock's Agonizing Blast feature: "When you cast eldritch blast, add +4 to the damage it deals." This bonus is reflected in the spell's effect.

What DxJxC said. And they couldn’t fix it before because even if they had the character sheet wasn’t designed to handle the necessary reprogramming. That’s why they had to do the character sheet revamp that just rolled out about a week ago. Now they can finally start reprogramming the rest of everything to solve issues like this one.

Most of the features that add to spell damage or healing don't work because spells are formatted a little inconsistently.
