Also unable to open character sheets in Safari. I can get to the campaigns, but clicking on a sheet brings up a blank page with "A problem repeatedly occurred...".
Sounds serious. I know if a problem repeatedly occurred anywhere in my life I would totally stop doing the thing, too.
Strange. I Live in an apple household. I pretty much use Safari exclusively and so far have not had any problems with it. Like, I just checked it both from “My Campaign” and from “My Characters” and everything opened up lickety split, same as usual.

Could you post your MacOS version and Safari version?
I'm also getting adventures in a read-only, narrow column looking page and the maps are high-res and zoom-able. Not a bad way to run the adventures, to be fair.

iOS 13.4.1 on both iPhone11 and iPad5. I can’t find the version number for Safari, but everything is set to automatically update, and it says everything is currently updated.

Ok so you're using mobile devices and iOS.
I'm using a MacBook and MacOS, so it's apples and oranges. Thanks for posting though.
I did a little research and a 403 error means that the server acknowledges that I am an authenticated user, BUT for whatever reason it doesn't think I am authorized to view a given resource.

That’s fair. The last time I was actually “current” on my computer skills was circa 1999ish. I honestly didn’t know there was any significant difference there. I could check on my MacBook Pro, but last time I did it was working there too and all also fully updated.
Ahh, well I would be curious to know your MacOS version and if it works for you!!
Okay, on my MacBook, I just went into My Campaigns and tested 4 characters in 1 campaign, ! created by that player for that campaign, 1 I created in that campaign for a player who claimed it, 1 that a player created and ported in, and 1 that a player created and I took over as an NPC. I also tested the characters I am playing in other DMs campaigns, and a few of the NPCs I have built as PC generated and store in various other campaigns I use as folders. Every one of them opened same as usual.
Wow, thank you for doing that! This helps that we are using the same versions. Hmm.. I will do some testing on my end and post when I have more data. Thanks!
No kidding, try logging out and back in. If that doesn’t work, log out again, clear your browser’s cache again, and then log back in. It seems to work more often than you might believe.

This is probably due to the Character Service Migration Update that went into effect yesterday.
Chrome works, Safari does not.
MacOS 10.13.6 and Safari Version 13.1 (13609.1.20.111.8)
I can't access character sheets in my campaign anymore using Safari. I can access them in Chrome.

So I can view my character sheet using this link format:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/123456789
which appears to be the read-only version. This link works when I'm not even logged into DDB, which I didn't know was possible.
It's only when I try to access the character through my campaign does it not work:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/<character-name>/characters/123456789
I tried emptying the browser cache and deleting all website data (cookies etc.) and then restarting the browser. No dice.
And to be clear, the problem is viewing character sheets of other players who have joined my campaign.
I'm also getting adventures in a read-only, narrow column looking page and the maps are high-res and zoom-able. Not a bad way to run the adventures, to be fair.

I have three extensions but they are all disabled. I have also disabled Adobe Flash Player.
So I upgraded my MacOS last night from High Sierra to Catalina (10.15.4) and it now works!
Problem solved.
That’s great!
