Hi,

I've been re-creating the Feat: Observant in my private Homebrew but found that it fails to apply the +5 bonus to Passive WIS (Perception).

In fact, it adds the +5 bonus twice to Passive INT (Investigation).

I have the correct Modifiers selected and this applies whether I tweak them with a Primary Stat (WIS/INT) or not - I knew this tweak was incorrect but thought I'd try it anyway!

So you going to post a link to your (unpublished) homebrew or are you just going to ask the mechanic to fix your car over the phone?

I did not think that there was any value in posting a link as it's a self-evident bug in how D&D Beyond applies the Passive Perception bonus i.e. it's added to Passive Investigation instead.

I also thought that Private Homebrews themselves were off-limits so was reporting the bug in a general sense.

I can't get it to link an image of how this then gets incorrectly applied to the Character Sheet.

UPDATE: I've now 'fixed' this by simply re-doing it.

I can confirm 100% that I actually changed nothing, I just manually went into the relevant 2 modifiers and re-selected them once more (I'd tried this at least once before).

It's now displaying correctly on my character sheet.

Moderators have admin privileges and can therefore see unpublished homebrews so that they can help fix them.

Yep, that's cool so my link should work.

Anyway it's fixed now either because someone spotted the original post and fixed the bug from my description, or because it just fixed itself when I rebuilt it, taking care to Save between each Modifier addition.
