I have purchased the Players Handbook and want to make a new character but ...

I want a Paladin with Oath of Vengeance, but the option is not available. Same with Variant Human and selecting Magic Initiate for the initial feat.

Help please?

Are you Lvl 3? You choose your Oath at 3rd level, not at Lvl 1.

 Did you purchase the “full version” ($30) or the “compendium only” ($20) version of the PHB? The compendium only version does not unlock the digital tools, ably the information contained within the paperback version.  If you did purchase only the compendium it will count as credit toward the purchase of the full version, so you would only need to pay the $10 difference.

I purchased the 29.99 version of the PHB and have the electronic receipt.

 Go to “my account” and see if it needs to be re-synced. If it does it should give you an option to do it. If not, recheck that it is still unavailable in the character builder. If it is, try logging out and back in again. If it still isn’t there scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Contact Us” and file a ticket.

All is well. I found my mistake. Thanks for all of your help.
