For some reason if I try to view a character while logged in on my computer I get the 500, "Whoops! We rolled a 1 on our Authentication check. We're heading into town to visit the blacksmith for repairs. Try again after a Short Rest." response, but I can look at all my characters while logged in on my phone.

Log out, log back, in wait 20 minutes, then check again.
