My tiefling cleric has Flame Blade due to a racial feature. However, the hit of the spell lists the modifier (+4 from WIS) instead of the spell attack (+7 from WIS+Proficiency). (screenshot from my spell list)
The wording on the Flame Blade spell specifically says, "You can use your action to make a melee spell attack with the fiery blade. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 fire damage."
Other spells that utilize melee (and range) spell attack, correctly apply my +7 spell attack. For example, Guiding Bolt, Ray of Enfeeblement, Vampiric Touch, etc. It's only Flame Blade that displays something other than my spell attack.
You know the mage hand cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the burning hands spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the flame blade spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
So it is using your Charisma instead of Wisdom. I am assuming that your Charisma modifier is only +1 added to your Proficiency bonus of +3 that would give you a total Attack modifier of +4.

Jinx! :P
Aha! Thank you for pointing that out. Indeed, that's the case in the Racial Traits section of my sheet which I forgot to look at. Mystery solved, no bug. ^^

Am I missing some other explanation?
Think I've got it! For your racial spells, you use Cha as the ability modifier, not Wis! Is your Chamod +1 by any chance?
So it is using your Charisma instead of Wisdom. I am assuming that your Charisma modifier is only +1 added to your Proficiency bonus of +3 that would give you a total Attack modifier of +4.
