Belt of Hill Giant strength not changing stats/modifiers

Basically above. It was working fine until I checked to see if the feats I purchased were available by temporarily my ASI at level 4.

They did, but now when I equip or unequip the Belt of Hill Giant Strength, my stats don’t change.

Any advice/fix for this?

You must also attune the item in addition to equipping it.
