Hi, I have changed my characters class from fighter to wizard during the creation of my character. I have 0 levels in fighter, and 2 in wizard. It still shows my character having two weapon fighting. How do I remove this without deleting the character?
Same thing has happened with my wifes character, she has changed two weapon fighting to dueling and it still shows two weapon fighting and not showing the dueling addition to attacks.
Ok, so then why doesnt dueling add the +2 to attack rolls? Or do you have to add that manually?
Do you have another weapon designated as an off hand/dual wield weapon? If so, that will “turn off” the dueling bonus since it applies only if you are holding no other weapons.
Following this as i'm a noob trying to figure this out!
For it to add +2 to the damage, do i need to customize the longsword and add the +2 damage manually?
TIA
No, if you have the fighting style and equip the weapon it should just do it for you. Keep in mind that Proficiency bonus does not get applied to damage rolls.

Everyone has a two weapon fighting entry. It’s not a fighting style but a rule that applies to everyone.

Well, to be fair it’s both. Because WotC is lazy.

Because Dueling doesn’t add 2 to attack rolls, it only adds 2 to damage rolls.

ok, dont hate me! I dont think it is...it is showing damage as 1D8 +5 (strength and proficiency i'm guessing). Is there anything else i should do?
Proficiency never gets added to damage rolls. The +5 is from +3 Str and +2 Deuling.
