Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the Potion of Healing (the basic one) is listed as Other Gear and not listed under Potions when adding gear to a character sheet.

This seems like a bug that I'm kind of amazed nobody noticed, but maybe there's logic here that I'm not seeing?

It's because a regular potion of healing is a part of the basic equipment list in the Player's Handbook at a price of 50gp. It's considered a basic piece of adventuring gear, just like rope, rations, torches, ect. 

Technically, it should be listed in both, but isn't.

I can see the logic now but it does feel like it should be listed in both. When I was searching for it, my first thought was to click the Potion filter, after all.

 Ditto. I know better and still make that mistake on occasion if not thinking about it.

 Same here, just discovered this "bug".  I agree with DxJxC; it should be in both categories.  It is a potion, after all.
