That Bonus Action is generated by the feat itself. The feat is useable with a Quarterstaff that only has a 5-foot reach. The feat and your weapons do not interact to create that Bonus Action. So the feat just makes a generic Attack with the bare minimum useage (the Quarterstaff’s 5 ft. reach). Because it has no way of knowing what weapon your character has equipped. It’s basically a limitation of the current software.
What you could do is create a homebrewed copy of the feat and label the existing Bonus Action as being for “Quarterstaff or Spear,” and then make another identical action only with a 10-foot reach and label that one as “Halberd or Glave” and then replace the official one with your homebrewed version. Then, on your character sheet you would be able to customize them to toggle of “display as attack” for the one you don’t want.
Hey everyone,
I just noticed the bonus attack from the polearm mastery feat says it has 5ft reach on my actions tab on my character sheet. However I found this post from Jeremy Crawford saying the bonus attack can in fact use the reach from the weapon: https://www.sageadvice.eu/2016/05/09/glaives-and-halberds-can-the-bonus-attack-from-polearm-master-be-taken-at-10-feet-reach/
my regular attack does show 10ft reach and yes I do have the Glaive equipped ;)
my character: https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Anyori/characters/35121011
just thought I’d drop this in, hope it can be fixed as it’s a tad confusing at the moment.

I hope that helps.

Ah ok fair enough. That also explains why my main attack does have 10 ft reach. Thanks!
