D&D Beyond Character Editor Not Adding Attributes Correctly

How is something so basic as adding attributes correctly not working in D&D Beyond?

This is embarrassing. The numbers are all there, but it won't add them up?

18 + 1 + 1 = 19????

You have the score overridden to 19, so it’s just doing what you told it to do. See:

Simply delete that override and it’ll calculate things properly for you.

How did this happen when I have never touched the override before this?

Maybe your DM did it? Maybe by accident? 🤷‍♂️ It happens from time to time.
