Strange bug or something else? One of my player's sheet has a strange issue where, at level 2, they have a +12 to damage with no clear source on their weapon. I made another character with the exact same details and it has the normal +6 to hit that should be calculated. I would like to not have to help them re-do the entire sheet, any ideas as to the cause?

I have already eliminated any Stat bonus, the weapon itself has not been edited, they have no feature beyond Dueling, and a +4 to STR, that should be impacting the weapon.

It will likely be the Duelling Fighting Style being applied more than once. It's an occasional bug that happens. The fix is really simple. Go to the character builder and the Fighting Style and set it to the first "- Choose an Option -" option. Keep doing that until it stays that way (it will flick back to Duelling because it's been applied more than once). Once it's stable and stays on the first option - set it to Duelling again.

I believe a mod said that this happens mostly due to editing a character in multiple browser tabs at the same time or something - so don't do that.

Their dueling fighting style glitched. They must unselect it in the character builder by selecting the top “—“ option. They will have to do that several times until it “sticks.” After that they will be able to reselect it without issue.
