Eldritch Adept (UA). Unfortunately, we're not currently able to model this feat with the D&D Beyond feats system. It has been created and you will be able to select it for your characters, however it does not allow you to select and gain Eldritch Invocations.
couldnt they just add options to the feat, like you do with class features?
Just like they do With Spell Sniper, or any other feat that gives class choices.
However, unlike what the second post says... it's not even able to be added to the character sheet.
If you look at Spell Sniper, the feat doesn’t give those choices. They had to code multiple versions of the feat to substitute for choices.
If you go to the homebrewer you will see for yourself that the only options we can code onto feats are options for Actions. (And honestly, I haven’t played with that so I don’t know how functional it is.) The system we have access to is the same system the Dev’s have to use.
If they were to create a different version of the feat for every Invocation, there would be more than 30 of them.
Maybe this is intentional, I wasnt able to find a thread about this already.
Selecting the eldritch adept feat at level 4, I cant find a way to add an invocation.
As per the very first post in the thread specifically for this UA article:
