Unable to add spells to character sheet

Tried to add some spells on level up. Everything was good Friday, but on Saturday, the five spells I had added were no longer listed and could not be added. The spells in question were a mix of free available spells and homebrew.

When I try to add spells again, the following error is thrown:
"Whoops! We rolled a 1 on our API check. We're heading into town to visit the blacksmith for repairs.

Try again after a Short Rest.

Version 3.12.1"

Have logged out, cleared cache, restarted browser, restarted browser, tested on Edge & Firefox (both fully updated).

Replication:

1. Log in.

2. Navigate to Collections > My Characters > Select Character. Character sheet is displayed.

3. Click Spells: no spells added.

4. Click Manage Spells. Correct number of available spells is shown (Cantrips: 0/2; Known Spells 0/3).

5. Scroll through list, click Learn next to spell name to add.

6. Error is thrown.
