Wanted to bring this to light in case it wasn't already known (I didn't see it anywhere). When you are leveling up and inputting your HP, it automatically applies a total bonus based on your CON*Level. Except it only knows the current CON mod. So if you start with a CON mod of 3, on level 3 you'd have a bonus of 9 (3*3). But at level 4, if you increase your CON stat to get a mod of 4, at level 4 you would be getting a bonus of 16 (4*4) as opposed to 13 ((3*3)+(4*1)).

Thank you for the rules reference! I was confident it was RAW, but wasn't sure where it was documented.
My pleasure. When rules are in question, I find it most helpful to be pointed in the right direction rather than being told without reference which can sometimes lead to more ambiguity depending on the wording.
Hello,
Wanted to bring this to light in case it wasn't already known (I didn't see it anywhere). When you are leveling up and inputting your HP, it automatically applies a total bonus based on your CON*Level. Except it only knows the current CON mod. So if you start with a CON mod of 3, on level 3 you'd have a bonus of 9 (3*3). Hope that made sense.
It is my understanding that by RAW, when the CON modifier goes up, the affect to HP is retroactive, affecting the bonus to HP at every level.
