I've made a bunch of homebrews and have added images to them. The thing is that I cleaned up my desktop and possibly moved the folder they were in so now all of my homebrew don't have images (for example the races show the missing images thing when in the select a race area).
Is there any way to set Dndbeyond or my homebrew to redirect the sources (since they're all in the same folder in the same location) without having to manually put each and every image again? I do know that other programs allow you to 'reset/find' where the images have been moved to.
Once the images have been attached they no longer need to live in the same place on your device. (Heck, you could delete the images from your computer and it won’t matter.)
Did you perhaps publish those items? Are you viewing them while not logged in? The reason I ask those questions is because any images attached to homebrews are stripped away from the published versions and will only be visible to the homebrews’ creators or other DDB users specifically in shared DDB campaigns with that the creators. They do that in case the images are copywritten by someone else or are dirty pics or something.
Thanks. They're not published. And they're not inappropriate. They're all mostly WotC clips.
I had thought that once uploaded they'd be good but ALL of my stuff has that torn image icon like when its been removed & the only thing I can think is moving around the files...
I can try manually replacing a file or 2 to see if it helps but I dread manually uploading all of them.
I've used other software that uses uploaded images for textures n such n they have a way to reset it. I guess its more vital in those programs so they set a way to do it
So.... I tried reuploading 2 separate races and they're still not showing any images (no portrait headshot) in the race selection screen BUT there is a full body image on the race page itself......
Anyone know whats up?
