It would be a call to be made by the DM but as far as I am aware there is no direct synergy for the abilities. I think the biggest thing is wild shape letting you keep the abilities of your race, class, etc if your new form is able to use them (which would be determined by the DM) and if you are able to use them you would be using the strength of the new form for whatever attacks you would be making.
I don't see a situation that would be necessarily inhibitive to have both, however, I don't know how useful it would actually be to be an earth elemental with a 10-foot reaching tail instead of your normal abilites.
