Does anyone have a Barbarian Multiclassing Tier list for 2020? Ex: Barbarian(Bear) + Druid(Moon)
I cannot say there is one, for each different multiclass build is often trying to accomplish different things. Bear barb + moon druid makes a durable tank, whereas berserker barb + vengeance paladin is trying to crank out as much damage as feasibly possible.
Basically, Berserker is the top barbarian subclass for DPR due to the bonus full attack and reaction attack. A 3 level dip gets Frenzy, 14 gets Retaliation, and 17 gives the maximum Brutal Critical when paired with a half-orc.
A 2 barbarian dip for Reckless Attack pairs nicely with a nova class like vengeance paladin.
3 Champion fighter with Berserker gets more consistent brutal critical hits.
3 Assassin rogue with Berserker often gets guaranteed critical hits during the surprise round.
It's a bit MAD, but taking 1 Forge cleric or 2 artificer gets you a +1 magic weapon.
An odd one would be to take some levels in Monk for Flurry of Blows. It costs ki, but doesn't limit you based on your weapon or armor choices.
For tanking hits, bear totem warrior comes out on top for it's resistances to almost everything, followed by the battlerager's self-gaining temporary hit points. If your DM is strict on the race restriction, hill dwarf gets extra HP and less feature redundancy.
Dipping 3 into bear totem and putting the rest into moon druid has been talked about over and over because it works so well.
Cleric 3 grants non-concentration spells like sanctuary and warding bond, making it much harder for enemies to drop choice allies.
Battle Master fighter 3 has maneuvers like menacing attack and goading attack, possibly making dangerous targets less likely to hit your squishier party members.
Dipping 3 bear totem and maining conquest paladin has frightened-causing effects and aura of protection. If using a smite spell like wrathful smite, use it in a previous turn, then on the next one, hit the enemy with an attack first and THEN rage.
MAD oddball again, but dipping monk gets Patient Defense. Dodging is underrated, and doing it as a bonus action is pretty broken.
For a strict highest DPR "Barb" build you'd look into 17lvls of Dragon Warrior Subclass Fighter and only 3lvls into Zealot Barb.
Mix and match your Feats for flavor with the granted GWM and the Great Weapon Fighting and there really isnt anything that beats it.
The structure of the action economy is highly reliant on the GWM feats output and both these subclasses utilize the players attack action for increased output leaving the BA for GWM to fill.
Otherwise, acting like feats may not influence this list it is hands down the Berserker. Though a huge drawback from frenzy, and waiting until lvl14 for Retaliation; you can utilize your full action economy for raw damage. Partner that with a lvl17 barb and lvl3 Champion Fighter and you have a 8 attack rolls per turn crit fisher that has all 3 steps of brutal critical at his disposal.
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

Barbarian subclass Tier list 2020 (base on overall performance)?

D: Battlerager
Lies and slander!
Dwarven Battleragers are amazing and often underrated.
The Good: They're the highest consistent damage per round barbarian for most of the game. Right at level 3, they get a bonus action attack to use the spikey armor that deals 1d4 damage. This benefits from your strength bonus, rage bonus, and reckless attack. At 16 strength and level 3, average damage per round (assuming all hits) while raging for the battlerager is 19, compared to the zealots 16 (probably the other consistently highest damage barbarian). The battlerager will always be a little bit above the zealot in terms of damage. You also get to do a little damage when you decide to grapple a target. At 6, they will constantly be getting temporary hit points equal to their con modifier. Most of the cool stuff for the battlerager is front loaded to these first 6 levels. But they're probably the strongest features in terms of damage output for barbarians. The level 10 ability can be useful and the level 14 ability is nice for a little added damage. Enemies attack you at advantage so they'll hit often meaning that 3 retaliatory damage will get some use. However, at level 14 the battlerager is doing about 45 average damage per round which makes that 3 damage seem pretty insignificant. Still.. if multiple enemies are attacking you multiple times per round it starts to add up. 3 attackers all hitting you 2 times? That's 18 damage you're dealing just for being a punching bag.
The less good: Being limited to the spikey armor isn't awful but it definitely isn't ideal. It is a little strange at higher levels when if you were unarmored you'd actually have better AC. But that's not until you have 20 con. At level 20, if you have 16 (realistic if using point by) dex and 24 con, your unarmored AC would be 20. With the same attributes with spikey armor, you're looking at 16. Theoretically magical spiked armor could even it out a bit.
Another problem with it is there doesn't seem to be any way to increase the bonus action damage or make it magical by RAW. Does +1 Spiked Armor add +1 to attack and damage rolls or make the attack magical? It would be up to the DM. It doesn't explicitly say this anywhere one way or the other, so technically no. Also, if the barbarian doesn't have a weapon, technically he can't use his spiked armor using the attack action. This seems silly and I think most DMs would let them go ahead and attack with the spiked armor. Again, up to the DM though.
It is a difficult question to answer though. Best at what? Best at what levels? Given what group composition? Factoring in everything possible across all levels, I would rate them as this:
S:
Bear (at level 3) Totem - resistant to ALL damage except psychic. Other totems past 3 provide good options so you can tailor your barbarian to best suit your needs. The level 14 bear totem makes this barbarian very good at protecting the party.
A:
Battlerager - highest damage barbarian (unless the Berserker is berserking), good survivability with temporary hit points.
Zealot - also good damage, very good at not dying. The level 14 ability means the barbarian will pretty much never fall in combat if there are healers available. However, a barbarian still standing and attacking is far more likely to still be attacked and this might mean the zealot is more likely to actually die. But until the rage ends, that zealot will still be fighting with 0 hit points and 3 failed death saving throws (so technically a dead person walking). Fortunately they're cheap to resurrect.
B:
Totem (all but bear bear) - The other level 3 options are fine, but not when bear is an option. The other totem levels make for a very customizable barbarian. If the barbarian doesn't have to be the tank, I think the level 3 Eagle totem with the 14 Tiger totem option would be pretty cool. Or take mobile feat to pair with 14 Tiger. You could pretty much always get that bonus action attack.
Storm Herald - has some interesting options to either deal more damage or help protect yourself and party members. The protection the Storm Herald provides won't be the highest and the damage definitely won't be the highest either, but the versatility does put it in the B tier.
Ancestral Guardian - best tank of the bunch in terms of protecting allies. Not as good at mitigating damage compared to the bear totem barbarian though. Damage will be a little low too.
Berserker - This is so hard to place. I almost put it in the C tier and I almost put it in the A tier. The level 3 ability will very rarely be used due to getting levels of exhaustion. However, it can mean you are able to really deal some crazy high damage. One level of exhaustion isn't the end of the world and if its the end of the adventuring day anyway, go for it! I think it is meant as a thing to only use when fighting the BBG. There are other ways to clear levels of exhaustion including Greater Restoration and Potion of Vitality. The level 14 feature allows you to attack as a reaction. This means the Berserker is now the highest damage barbarian even if not using frenzy. This subclass doesn't add much in the way of survivability though and the level 10 feature to frighten enemies is bad due to it using your Charisma modifier for saving throws. What barbarian has good charisma?!
C:
D:
So there it is, in my opinion. None of them are bad options and all of them add something useful to the Barbarian. Want to deal damage? Berserker, Battlerager, or Zealot! Want to take a beating? Bear Totem! Want to help your team? Ancestral Guardian! Want to do all the things? Storm Herald.
A surprising MC might be the celestial warlock. Armor of Agathys doesn't require conc (thus can be used but not cast while raging), and healing light can be spent while raging. Spell casting would otherwise be an out of rage utility

Hi I'm playing an Air Genasi lv 2 barb and was looking into what would be best for a multiclass (the multiclass being for flavour in RP primarily), I'm thinking of taking the totem warrior path using the bear totem as a base and tailoring it to a homebrewed totem (shark) which ties into their backstory of having saved a shark from captivity on a pirate ship, then staying on the ship to work off their debt for having bargained with the captain to free the shark.

Maybe some levels into druid to turn into a shark? Circle of the Coast/Sea?

couldn't work: wisdom isn't even near 13. I wouldn't multiclass will you have the abilities you want from barb, which would at least be 5.
