I’m in my first 5e homebrew campaign to level 20 with rolled stats.
My stats are Strength 16+2, Dexterity 13+1, Constitution 14, Intellect 12, Wisdom 14 and Charisma 12. I used custom race stats on a Variant Feral Tiefling (Winged).
My planned feats/asi are +2 strength at level 4, tough at level 8, and +2 Con for the rest. I’m running an Ancestral Guardian Barbarian. The two other players are a Divine Soul Sorcerer/Genie Warlock Air Genasi and a Arcane Trickster Rogue Owlin. (More players may join.)
I’d like to take all the cool feats like Great Weapon Master, Polearm Master and Sentinel, but I feel as though this is meant to be a tank first and foremost.
What do you all think? Do I have the right idea with this build, or should I be taking different feat/asi or in a different order?
Sentinel is definitely a good choice for a tank Barb, because it basically forces them to hit you next turn. Polearm could be useful, but I think that you should probably just do tough and sentinel. Great weapon master if you want to be more of an attacker.

Interesting. What should be replaced do you think? The +2 Strength or a +2 Constitution? And in what order should i take sentinel, tough and the remaining ASI?
The +2 Con, because maxing out Strength is really good and the tough feat basically gives you a +4 Constitution. 18 (19 if you take the Epic boon) Constitution isn't bad, not sure if you'll progress that far though. Also, Barbs get a +4 Con and Str at level 20.
Interesting. While Irresistible Offense would normally be a no brainer to me, I would think attacking recklessly each attack would be enough, especially since I’m trying to get them to hit me anyway.
Dimensional travel could be awesome, but I would want to make sure I could still attack in order to keep up rage. Then again, I have spears and hand-axes, but of course that’s a limited supply.
Can you use your first attack to throw something, dimensional travel up to them and then melee attack them? I suppose with a movement speed of 40 that isn’t likely to come up, but I want to know what my options will be.
It really depends on your DM. My reasoning with Dimensional travel was A. it only increases Dex or Str, and you've already maxed out Str, and B. It would get you in more favorable positioning to use the sentinel feat.
EDIT:Whoops, forgot to ay what increases Str or Dex; it's irresistible offense.
I see. So Sentinel, +2 Strength and Dimension Travel. Do I go Constitution with the rest, or try things like Polearm Master and/or Great Weapon Master. Also, what order besides Dimension Travel being 19?

True. I just wasn’t sure whether or not to max out certain ones to 24.
Which epic boon are you referring to?
Dimensional travel or Irresistable offense.
