I've been racking my brain about a fun character concept with the new Undead Warlock subclass; and I've been fiddling around with possible multiclass ideas.
Obviously, there's been discussions on the effectiveness of an Undead Warlock + Conquest Paladin...taking the Undead Warlock's "Form of Dread" and combining it with the Conquest Paladin's "Aura of Conquest" means that the player has a reliable way of immobilizing their targets...put the fear in 'em with "Form of Dread", and leave them quivering in their boots.
...but then I look at multiclassing with a Glamour Bard.
For just a single level multiclass into Undead Warlock, you get "Form of Dread":
Form of Dread
You manifest an aspect of your patron’s dreadful power. As a bonus action, you transform for 1 minute. You gain the following benefits while transformed:
You gain temporary hit points equal to 1d10 + your warlock level.
Once during each of your turns, when you hit a creature with an attack roll, you can force it to make a Wisdom saving throw, and if the saving throw fails, the target is frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
...and then you predominantly level yourself as a Glamour Bard.
Congratulations: you are now the most charming...and terrifying...presence on the battlefield.
It's actually quite amusing...Glamour Bards will eventually become this beautiful, otherworldly performer as they level up...ultimately, this will become permanent. They'll be charming people with their performances..."Command"-ing them as a bonus action...and eventually forcing Charisma-Saves on people to try and even hit them.
...but if the charming fails; you can just scare the bejeezus out of them with your "Form of Dread".
You also get to use this "Form of Dread" a number of times equal to your proficiency...so you really get a lot of different tactics to utilize between rests.
I honestly don't even know what that would even look like..."Form of Dread" makes you normally look undead...that, or you summon a shadowy cloak, or your eyes burn with an otherworldly light like a lich.
If you have that "turned on" at the same time as your "Unbreakable Majesty", are you some kind of...beautiful undead? Something ghostly?
There's a lot of ways to build this archetype...I'm really eager to see how this plays.
Vampires are very often glamorous in their depictions. I would probably go that route for the patron. Beauty and horror go very well together so I think this combination has the ability to stir up some great character concepts.

Or maybe ...
Canto alla vita
alla sua bellezza
ad ogni sua ferita
ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
Aha!
