So, I'm pretty much the dedicated healer for our group, I have no issues with it, I usually play healers, but what are some spell ideas for a coastal Druid who's party will most likely never go coastal? lol The circle is mainly for flavor and roleplay, which is why I play.
All healing spells are already locked in as a must, but what are some flavorful spells I could take to fluff my roleplay as a coastal Druidic healer?
The coast is primarily where land meets sea bringing themes of Water and Earth (Stone and Sand) elements. Most coasts tend to be windy by their nature so we can ultimately think of this being conceptually an elemental soul of water, sand, stone and wind. Coasts tend to have less vegetation because of the high amount of wind and salt water. If you decide to multiclass into Wizard consider adding Wall of Sand and Disintegrate for the theme - disintegrate, in this instance, representing how sand is made. The effect is like erosion over time but in an instant. Water from the sea erodes the rock and earth at the coast line and forms beaches, sand, salt and rocky cliffsides.
