I have a player running a fighter and loves the Battlemaster and his tricks. The problem is though, that we have to keep pulling out the books to reference his maneuvers. Spellcasters have their spell cards, but I haven't found anything similar for the fighter. Has anyone else come across something like them in their travels?
(Of course, maybe D&DB has it sorted when phase 2 rolls out. We'll have to see)

what i've done for my eldritch knight, is create a document in word that i can have as a quick reference sheet during gameplay. that way, i can easily find what i need when i'm looking to use a particular skill.
i also have a form fillable PDF of the DDAL character sheet that my wife uses for this purpose.
I actually have manuevers as spell cards. Bought them from my local tabletop gamestore. If I remember correctly, they were Gale Force 9's Spell Cards, Martial Archetypes
Thanks Jamppa. I hadn't heard of Martial Archetype cards although I have the Ranger spell cards. Will definitely help with remembering all the manoeuvres at my disposal.
The sad thing though is that they're not manufacturing those atm, working on a second release so they are tough to come by until the revised cards are released.
I go through the Player's HB and once I figured out what I want I write it down in my folder. Since I'm playing more than 1 campaign I need a folder to keep all my characters and their information. Since both of my fighters are Battle Masters it's easy to keep the information. That keeps me straight. My DMs keep info on our characters on their laptops. This way the search for info is easy and barely slows the game down. It's like having the spell cards right there.
Good to know they're not available. I went to Galeforce9 and they showed as Early 2017. I guess I'll just have to be patient and take the pen and paper approach in the meantime. :)
Pen and paper isn't a bad approach. It let's you put it into your own words so you can better understand and not worry about excess wording or not explaining it just right. And if you write it yourself with your DM there then both of you can understand it better. Then it won't take long to look up any abilities, feats, or maneuvers.
As I've played my Battle Master I've definitely found it important to have 'pips' (check boxes) that I can strike off as I use Superiority Die. I created my own character sheets before but often I simply add the number of pips to whichever character sheet template I'm using.
I also attempt to capture only the vital information: Type of Action of Perform (Attack, Move, Bonus), DC for opponents (if any), and if I add my Superiority Die to a die roll.
The sad thing though is that they're not manufacturing those atm, working on a second release so they are tough to come by until the revised cards are released.
I have created my own cards with word. Have several per page, then I laminate the page and cut into 3x5 card size. Also helps other players see what my abilities do so they plan accordingly.
gale force 9 martial deck is a very good help. i have it for my battlemaster and it's soooo useful. I endended getting all the decks except druid (which another party member has)
Just sharing a piece of information, I like to use for my characters, during on site campaigns with the group I play, one character sheet that is generated from a PDF file which I got from DMS Guild.
The file name is MPMB character sheet (More Purple More Better). This file can be downloaded for free, but the creator also receives donation for his job (and he also has other files he made available there).
Players can pay cents (through PayPal), if they wish.
Anyway, in summary, the file allows you to chose different races/subclasses and all the references is linked to the official rule set books. The file generates a few pages with information about your character, your companion (if you have one), inventory, features, and spell list if you are a spell caster.
You can have a "complete" character sheet with more than 8 pages. May sound "complicated" or too much, but believe me it is not.
For instance, if you are a fighter, 1 page of the sheet brings your features (if you have any) as your bonus actions, maneuvers and other references wth a brief explanation about each of them and where you can find it in the PHB.
Currently, I am playing the HotDQ campaign, my character sheet has 7 pages, and I am a Fighter (Battle Master) Level 3, with all my maneuvers (explained) and superiority dice "control" right on one of the pages. Mainly I use the first 2 pages where I have my stats and class features with my maneuvers explained and the last page that has a summary about "player reference" with info on actions, movement, conditions, environment, etc.
Anyway, I guess by using a file/character sheet like that one, you might not need cards and other papers when playing; but again, that is my impression which I would like to share with you all.
Only the player knows what is the best when the game is on.
So, again.... Just in case, look in the DMS guild for More Purple More Better and give it a try, if you wish :-)

Hi all!
The martial card product can be totally helpful.
As I've played my Battle Master I've definitely found it important to have 'pips' (check boxes) that I can strike off as I use Superiority Die. I created my own character sheets before but often I simply add the number of pips to whichever character sheet template I'm using.

Hope that helps!

I have that card set and it makes things oh so much easy to run a battlemaster. now if I can only get my dice to cooperate..
A lot of game shops have character cards.
