My beastmaster ranger is an atheist, which is kinda funny because in the Forgotten Realms, there is tangible proof the Gods exist. He reasons that he gets his spells from the power of Nature itself, but I'm pretty sure he's getting his spells from Silvanus.

At least it's not Discworld, where the gods go around breaking atheists' windows.

Which is not that far from the Wall of the Faithless, except for whole the eternal torment thing.
My ranger worships a god not listed in ANY of the mythologies, but one that I think is perfect for a ranger. Who? Well, first, it is not God, but Goddess. Gaia. Mother Earth. Since rangers are one with the earth and nature, I can't think of a more appropriate deity to worship.
My Ranger doesn't worship a god. She worships the Primal Spirits (i.e. the spirits of nature.) Amorok, the wolf spirit, gets most of her tribute, but she'll worship all the Primal Spirits as a whole.
My rangers (and my Druids and Barbarians) tend to revere the Primal Spirits as well, either lesser spirits that I can personalize or the greater spirits like Stormhawk, Everflame, Stoneroot, World Tree, or World Serpent.

Fate Weaver, Stormhawk, and World Serpent are the big trifecta when it comes to Primal Spirits for me. They're the three Primal Spirits I always default to. That, or like I did with my Ranger, smaller spirits I get to personalize. I also have my Druids and Barbs worship the Primal Spirits rather than any of the gods.
My wild elf Ranger is spending 100 years as the servant of a green dragon, and being so immersed in dragon culture made him a semi-reluctant follower of Tiamat, though without forsaking the whole Seldarine.
Gond and Chauntea Are both my rangers "Gods". this is because the rangers are described as being the wall between nature and civilization. The dnd Wiki states that Gond and Chauntea have a friendly rivalry ( https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Gond ) so I like the idea that the ranger can serve both at the same time. My ranger is also a blacksmith and will take a dip into forge cleric eventually.
So my ranger worships a God. Does yours worship one? And if so which god.

My ranger is a Drow who was converted by a Silverhair Knight, so I worship the goddess Eilistraee.
Oh, and if any one is wondering who my half-drow worships he worships Sehanine a forth edition goddess of the moon ,love , illusions, and autumn.
My ranger prays to a few for a couple of different reasons, but the main one is Mielikki, goddess of forests.

Shandukul in the Forgotten Realms is a ranger god and is especially good for Horizon Walker.
Wisea$$ DM and Player since 1979.
Mielikki.
Mielikki is the goddess Drizzt worships and is represented by the unicorn, right?
Does anyone know what gods are 5e from the player's handbook for Rangers?
Any character can worship any god in 5e. That said, any deity with the Nature domain in your PHB would be appropriate for a Ranger.

Noted, thanks for the info!
I played rangers that worshipped Mielikki, Lurue, Shaundakul, Ehlonna, Odad-hai, Rillifane Rallathil, Sehanine Moonbow, Solonor Thelandira etc
