I have no idea. I'm not a coder or a web designer. A lot of times, when all we see is an end-product, we assume the creation is easy and quick, without taking into consideration the sheer amount of planning and quality control that goes into it, nor the large amount of other work that would take up the majority of their time at any given moment. At the end of the day, they can only dedicate so much time to adding further features, and as of right now, there are other features higher on their list.
Now. You're looking at now, sir. Everything that happens now, is happening now. What happened to then? We passed then. When? Just now. We're at now now. Go back to then. When? Now. Now? Now. I can't. Why? We missed it. When? Just now. When will then be now? Soon. How soon?
They recently overwrote the zendesk post "Things NOT Available Yet" that tracked the progress on animal companions, etc. so who knows. Now it "tracks" completely different, old features.
How hard can it be? The offline character sheets also seem to be taking millennia. :-\
The offline character sheets are dependant on them getting the back end data into the app - this is phase two of the app Beta which is coming Soon™ (ie it is on the current schedule - actually being worked on rather than being in the planning stages)
Once phase two has been rolled out and any major bugs quashed, they can start work on the offline character sheet. Note, Adam has stated in the past that phase two and three could make the app huge due to the sheer amount of data.

I'm going to have to see that again soon. It's been too long. Question, if Barf were a ranger, could he benefit from both the ranger and the companion parks, since he's his own best friend?

What an underrated comment.

I may have missed it but i just wanted to make sure. Is there a way to choose your companion beast in the character creator for beastmaster?

Hurrah, we have reached a one year anniversary of "Soon"!
Is "soon", "now"?
Come on DND Beyond. Any update on this?
Videos talking about their roadmap always have this on the list, but it's still lower priority and months away at the earliest.

And the question was asked...
