I am currently plotting to contract vampirism from Strahd in the Curse of Strahd. My plan is to use Polymorph to transform into Ireena and get him to bite me and wish for me to turn.

Whilst planning, I was thinking of what to do if he finds out I am in fact a warlock imitating Ireena. My solution; to use mirror image instead. Here is my question, if my duplicate from mirror image contracts vampirism, will I have it too?

Any help would be appreciated.

 No. The things created using mirror image are illusions. Like if strahd bit a mirror with your reflection. 

I assume you mean Alter Self or Disguise Self? Polymorph turns you into a beast.
