hello all! today i'm curious as to what your best (and funniest?) warlock moments have been. kill a massive enemy by yourself? bring down an entire kingdom? spike someone's drink? get yourself stuck in a pit with your patron?
Pact of Chain warlock, constant fighting with my Imp, just nonstop.

We were trying to figure out this murder mystery thing and literally none of us could figure out what was happening (5am in the morning so, not the best of mindsets)
so im like, maybe my GOO’s could help :D
a ritual later, I have a -8 to all wisdom checks and saves, I lost all memory of my first 120 years of my life (drow), and every morning when I wake up I have to roll for a new alignment
Dealing like 100 damage in a single round below level 9 with the sentinel feet and armor of agathys. Just went nuts on everyone, moving hex around, encouraging them to hit me, and coming back to life with the sorcerer ability to kick some more ass.
Two warlocks, one barbarian, one barbarian/druid, one mage and one rogue, all lvl 7 fighting 60+ low lvl barbarians swarming our position.
Our DM is usually good at winging it and making it exciting if a challenge seems too easy, but with two warlocks just pewpew the barbarians at long range.......
He had forgotten the range on EB and we were just picking them down one after one before they managed to get close enough since they had no place to hide.
I must confess that overruning an opponent this much is seldom fun, but that night it was.
Casting Summon Greater Demon in the middle of an enemy encampment and watching all hell break loose... lost control of a Barlgura first round, which then turned invisible and decided to go straight for our Tiefling party member for thematic reasons by the DM (threatening to take her back to his realm, etc). Managed to regain control of it for awhile and do ridiculous amounts of damage, pushing enemies into its range with Repelling Blast... then when I decided to dismiss the demon, it still managed to stick around for 5 more rounds so I had to keep running away and try to distract it from killing my friend. After combat our characters got into a big argument over wether summoning a demon was a good idea (my low insight character of course saw no problem with it) and that’s led to some good RP development. So yeah, make questionable choices and see what happens 😜
In two different night time fights, using Eldritch Blast with Devil's Sight from about 90 feet away from the melee and blasting away at will in complete natural darkness until the end of combat. Our opponents never saw me but I picked them off at will.
So in our party we have two and a half warlocks (half warlock half cleric basically) I was playing playing pact of the chain and needed to let the other warlock who was scouting using his crow familiar (from pact of the tome) know that i was going to leave for a while. However since he's deaf and blind i had to figure out a different way of letting him know without interrupting him.
I used my psudodragon's ability to send images to his brain of me leaving. I asked the DM if that works and he said "So you want to send an image of you leaving through your mind to your psudodragon then to your friend's mind which will go to his crow pet since his mind is there? are we starting a network here?" and we all laughed almost hysterically.

Born under the watch of something from the furthest corners of the far realms.... It knows all.... it sees all... and it asks: "What is it that you want to see?"... and my answer is... ALL"
Tiefling, Pact of the Tome...as soon as I read about this nifty little feature, I just had to use it in practice...
This character was a bit of a trickster, an occultist in the same style of John Constantine...and there was this rude shopkeeper who collected all this magical crap, who we needed some information out of regarding a quest. But this shopkeeper was pretty tight-lipped, and wouldn't give us anything unless we gave him something in return.
So...I gave him my Book of Shadows, the same one all Tome Warlocks get at Level 3. I told him that it contained hidden knowledge, and that it possessed power that only those of magical skill could acquire. My character, Trickery (a tiefling name, one I definitely didn't use here!) stated that they had no luck unlocking the power, but that perhaps the shopkeeper could.
That greedy shopkeeper took one look at the Book of Shadows and knew that it was valuable, and immediately wanted it. We bargained, and in the end, my party got the information we needed, and a tidy sum of gold. As we were leaving, I warned the shopkeeper that the Book of Shadows was really old, and to be careful studying it.
Now...for those who know about the Pact of the Tome Warlocks, the Book of Shadows is a Tome that is bound to their being. If you lose it...or in this case, sell it...you can summon it back after a one hour ritual. When you do this, the old Book of Shadows disintegrates into dust.
And that's exactly what I did. When my party returned to the inn, I conjured the Book of Shadows right back into my possession. I could imagine the look on the shopkeepers face when that book dissolved right in front of his eyes!
While cloaked in shadows and frost ( I stacked Shadow of Moil and Armor of Agathys), I dived into a group of Gith'yanki who had boarded our ship and taken out one of our party. They immediately misty stepped away from me and ran. I chased them across the entire ship before they decided that boarding was a poor decision and jumped overboard into the Astral Sea. I followed and jumped right into the middle of the four of them before teleporting away with Thunder Step. Three of them died right there, and I ended up on their ship with no one else on it. I then used my, at the time, brand new 6th-level Mystic Arcanum spell Soul Cage to capture one of their souls for questioning.

That hex is great to heal you as well.

working on doing a 'small' favor for my fiendish patron, my character asked a banshee what she would like in exchange for a locke of her hair.
The banshee was momentarily speechless, and then gave the party a side quests.
