I recently tried to create a custom attack using the 'manage custom' button on the character sheet. I was trying to get it to reflect the 2nd level sorcerer spell 'Shadow Blade'. But the 'Dice Count' drop down would never raise the number of dice above 1, regardless of where I set it (base damage for shadow blade is 2d8. I could not get the custom attack to show more than 1d8). Also, once I had added a value to the 'fixed value' field, it was impossible to set it back to zero. Am I missing something, or are these just bugs?
I was having the same issue trying to do the exact same thing. Make a custom attack for shadow blade, set 2 damage dice of type 8, but it wouldn't change the calculation from 1d8 + mod to 2d8 + mod. I also couldn't back off the fixed value back to zero.
After about 10 minutes of fudging with the up/down arrows, I finally clicked into the text box and hit backspace to delete the previous value and typed in '2' for the Dice Count value and left fixed value blank and everything worked properly. Seems there is a bug with the up/down arrows but typing the values manually (or leaving blank) works properly.
For the record I am using Firefox.

Log out, log back in, wait 20 minutes and then try again. That will force the system cache to reset. That should fix it.
