I have been strumbling since the begining of my time within DDB with weapons with finesse propierties. What happens is that whenever a player wants to chose to use STR modifiers with a finesse weapon, we need to calculate its bonus manually since the button for the roll in the sheet keeps DEX as standard. I know its not a major problem, but I whink it would be nice to have an option button for STR roll on that kind of weapons and DDB already have a similar situation as the versatile weapons that have two buttons, so that wouldn't be hart to implement it.
D&D Beyond automatically picks the highest of the two to display. I'm curious as to the use-case you have for picking the lower?
One special use case I have seen was an instance in which a Barbarian with a higher Dex was using a shortsword and wanted to use Str instead of Dex for the Rage damage.
You do have the option to customize the weapons with hit and damage modifier overrides. This should solve the issue as desired.
yep, that solve the problem, but I'm not sure if its my navigator or what everytime I customize a item in a sheet theres a chance I loose the custom when I press F5. And also I think would be nice we have that option in the sheet than need to make the customization everytime a new item is add to the inventory (not that it takes too much time, but..)
