I just Purchased the book for the new Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron and I can't even view a PDF version of it? couldn't you guys just email the PDF to us when we purchased it or something. it would save time. Instead of digging through all the categories and links about it all.
So then how are we supposed to actually playtest this material with our players? Is my only option to get a subscription or take a bunch of screenshots and send to them?
If I do have to get a subscription then I feel totally ripped off since I could have just bought the PDF on DMs guild and shared that with my players.
Thank you. I took a peek at your character/campaign. I love Zippy "Eight Eyes". He seems awesome. I'm running ToA, too, but it looks like you're doing it old school forum style which is awesome. I used to love RP in the old AOL chats/message boards back in the day.
I'm in CoS right now: ddb.ac/characters/4030041/P4GyO4
This line in the guide regarding the Greater Dragonmark feat is confusing me: "For example, to cast Leomund’s secret chest using this feat and the Mark of Warding, you must have a Siberys dragonshard with a value of at least 100 gp."
What's the logic behind the value of the dragonshards needed as focuses? I checked it against the magewright dragonshard costs (the closest thing I could find to dragonshard focuses), and it doesn't line up with that logic-if that system was used, Secret Chest would require a dragonshard worth 200 gp. Can someone explain this to me?
During the design of the House Kundarak dragonmark, Keith wanted to assign a cost for the feature to bring it somewhat inline with the cost associated with the spell. The logic was that the dragonmarked house had taught themselves to make a shard of this value work better for the transference of the power granted by their dragonmarks than a non-marked entity (including magewrights). If a magewright were able to make use of such a spell, perhaps the required dragonshard would need to be worth 200 gp.
That said, in your homegame, feel free to modify the required focus to whatever you believe is appropriate, or remove it entirely, with your DM's approval.
Can we have a toggle or something to activate/deactivate the Eberron content in the races sections (outside of the character creator) ? For clarity's sake.
For instance, on the elf section, we get all "official" sub-races mixed with Eberron ones without clear boundaries.
So a way to activate/deactivate Eberron ones with a toggle like in the character creation would be appreciated. Or maybe regroup them in a sub-section at the end of the page, at the very least.
Everyone in my group uses Beyond on my computer to plan their characters (they browse the site instead of the physical books) and i know they'll get confused by all that has been added to the races sections since i bought Eberron for a possible future campaign.
I guess it could be also interesting for Ravnica depending of what is in the sourcebook.

DDB does not provide PDFs with a purchase.
The product (in its entirety) is in the Compendium section, while races, feats and backgrounds are in the corresponding sections of the toolset.

If you want them to create characters with the Eberron options in DDB, yes you or one of your players need a Master Tier subscription.
If you want to just share the text with them, you can use a campaign slot and copy/paste the relevant part of the Guide with zero costs.
If you want the PDF version you'd need to purchase it from the DM's Guild.
Hello,
In chapter 3, Races, the elves aren't shown as a link.
Just an FYI.
This is fixed, thanks.

My question is why Wayfarer’s Guide to Eberron doesn’t appear in the DnD Beyond iOS App even after I have purchased it?

Hi Booksbooks3,

Happy Gaming!

Yes, but i was talking of the racial sections outside of the character creator.
There, do be more precise : https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/races/elf
Yep, sorry, I misunderstood your previous post. We will make sure that the devs see this suggestion, since it is a very good one.
Thank you !
